About Vitamin C

  • While most animals can produce vitamin C in their bodies, animals such as humans and monkeys cannot.
  • This medicine will be a useful source of vitamin C when your body needs a large supply at the time of physical fatigue, during pregnancy or lactation, and due to loss of strength during and after illness, or as a daily supplement for the elderly.
  • The action of vitamin C to relieve blotches, freckles, etc. is well known. Vitamin C is also necessary to produce collagen that connects each cell, and strengthens the blood vessel walls and prevents bleeding of the gums and nose.
  • Since vitamin C is soluble in water, only a small amount is accumulated in the body.
